My priorities

The things worth standing up for.

Practical local priorities, grounded in what residents tell me and the villages we want to protect.

01

Planning & the Green Belt

The Farnhams are villages for a reason and should remain so. I am concerned about inappropriate development pressures and want proposals to be judged properly against the planning policies, evidence and impact on local infrastructure. As a planning committee member, I keep an open mind on applications I may determine.

02

Roads, speeding & highways

Potholes, speeding, road closures, flooding and poor signage are everyday concerns for residents. I work with Buckinghamshire Highways, Thames Valley Police and parish councils to seek practical improvements and follow up defects.

03

Crime & safer villages

From antisocial behaviour to burglaries, vehicle crime and shoplifting, people deserve to feel safe at home and on their local high streets. I regularly bring residents’ concerns to the police and am hosting a ward-wide Police & Crime Summit on 20 November.

04

Fly-tipping & our countryside

I co-founded South Bucks Wombles and continue to support those who give up their time to clean our countryside. I also believe offenders should face meaningful consequences and that enforcement must be effective.

05

Village life & local business

Our parish councils, churches, small businesses, clubs and volunteers make the villages what they are. I want them to thrive and will do what I can to make sure their concerns are heard.

06

Local democracy & council accountability

Whether it is a major planning decision, a public asset or the delivery of a basic service, residents deserve transparent decisions and clear explanations. I will ask questions and insist that concerns are followed through.
