Following the residents' working group I brought together at Verdon Court, Buckinghamshire Council's Housing team has reopened constructive discussions with the site owner about future options for the property.
These discussions include exploring whether the site could potentially help meet the housing needs of Buckinghamshire residents. No agreement or final outcome has been reached, and I will continue to be clear about that.
Residents have also raised planning enforcement, security and neighbourhood concerns that need proper responses. I am grateful to everyone who has taken the time to attend meetings, share their experiences and help find a sensible way forward.
